In today’s video game market it takes a certain amount of guts to back and release new IP. Each year we witness an increasing amount of sequels, prequels and reboots, and in a certain sense it’s admirable that Konami has been willing to give NeverDead a shot. Anyone who has been following the title knows that its main selling point is the protagonist’s literal inability to die without consequences, a unique twist that has the potential to make the title actually stand out as something fresh and different. So the real question many must be asking is if immortality is enough to make this game a true survivor, or is Neverdead actually dead on arrival? Read on to find out.
