Midway Arcade, from WB Games, is a collection of arcade classics from the past for you to enjoy. Sure this has been done before on practically every game console known to man. However, it hasn’t really been done on iOS devices. Retro games now with touchscreen controls…challenge accepted. This is what Microsoft's Game Room should have been.

Player Attack: The overall presentation of this app is fantastic. Plenty of games, plenty of options for controls (especially now that it has support for iCade) and design which takes advantage of the hardware. Holding the iOS device in portrait orientation lets you see the cabinet artwork, whereas landscape gives you the game in full screen. The look of the arcade itself is simple, and that's all you need when navigating between machines in your virtual arcade.
Gamers with a hankering for a return to the old days of classic arcade cabinet play -- and those too young to have experienced the real thing but wanting to -- will be pleased to learn that Warner Brothers have added full compatibility for the iCade system and iPAD for their Midway Arcade App.
