The digital god, Proteus (Nightmare Mode)

Nightmare Mode takes a look at Proteus, a "walking around" title now released in beta, and discusses how its interpretation of nature creates stronger feelings than the more realistic one created in Skyrim. Abstraction, they claim, lets the player's imagination run wild more easily than realistic depiction.
