Victor Godinez of The Dallas Morning News writes:
"I've been using the Blu-ray movie player in my PlayStation 3 game console for about a year now and have been invariably thrilled with both the quality of Blu-ray discs and the ability of the device to sharpen the image on regular DVD's. The HD-DVD players were equally adept, technically speaking, but they do have a couple of drawbacks..."
That's before I knew what XboxKing was about. Now that I know, I no longer approve it.
Xbox Cloud Gaming adapts to how you play—Touchscreen, controller, or mouse. Here’s how they’re helping devs support it all.
The Piranha Plant camera for Nintendo Switch 2 looks great, but its resolution is limited to 480p, compared to the official webcam's 1080p.
Even better... the lower the res, the less bandwidth it will use to transmit video while playing. Besides, i dont think anyone will be buying it to actually use... I'm getting it just for the aesthetic. Maybe another company (or Hori themselves) can offer a Lakitu holding the video camera while riding a cloud like he does in the game. That would be another cool one to have.
is it shocking?
really?
its funny tho, the camera is 34 moneys woth 480p resolution only, i found one for 11 with 1080p resolution haha wat a rip off ha
The peripheral maker continues to impress with this retro-style controller.
i have the Nyxi Wizard GC style joycons and was very impressed. It made playing metroid prime remaster feel even better than i remember.
By the age of 10, the only consoles I have played were NES, SNES and Genesis. Genesis was my favourite out of the bunch but I can safely say that my favourite consoles has been the PS3.
Red Ring a HD-DVD player.
i approve this even though it is HDDVD Player. There has been so many news on here regarding HDDVD and Bluray. So why not a review on one of the players?
dont play Blu-Ray's?
ROUND PEG also approved the controversial story releated to UT3 MODs as well
even the DECEPTIVE story of HD DVD beating BD when AMAZON rakings itself say 2:1 for BD
PEOPLE report both TNS and ROUND PEG
In my opinion, I think most of HD DVD's sales come from people who don't know much about HD formats and see the words HD and DVD and assume it's the successor. Plus the price doesn't hurt either. The problem is, most people who are willing to spend 1000+ dollars on an HDTV does their research before spending more money on a player. And these people usually come across the whole "blu ray is winning by..alot" articles.
