Mercenaries 3 To Use Frostbite 2 Engine? Job Listings May Be The Hint

Mercenaries has never seen the kind of sales of other sandbox games, but in that sense it's always been a niche hit. Now new details uncovered suggest that the third installment may actually use Battlefield 3's impressive Frostbite 2 engine. Will that sell it big?
A NeoGAF forum member by the name of Nirolak took the time to sleuth out every bit of supporting evidence he could find, coming up with some interesting pointers to help the rumor along. And nothing has bolstered rumors better in the last year than developer job listings, which he unearthed in spades.

Go big or go home...

This game should catapult the Mercenaries series back to fame.

Would be awesome.

If it's true.

This would be awesome! I really wanted to like the second one, but there was one mission I couldn't beat and then I gave up, it was the one where you have to defend a building from all these tanks coming toward you to destroy the building, I have no idea how to beat it!

Absolutely insane. Man I'm hope they land on their feet EA needs to get the shit together badly....

This is why this industry has slow releases and none compelling games.

Why would anyone willingly work in the VG industry or specifically for one of these globocorp organizations that put you in constant fear of losing your livelihood based on terrible choices made by idiotic management, not the people with talent making the actual games?
