HBG Review: Syndicate

At first glance it’s easy to pass off EA’s Syndicate as a “me too” attempt at Square’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Dark future? Check. Deep synth bass? Check. Corporations that rule the planet with an iron fist? Check once again. Despite their common themes, Syndicate manages to differentiate itself from its would-be competitor with slick gunplay, forced suicides and heavy helpings of Skrillex.
