VentureBeat's Dean Takahashi weighs in on Uncharted: Golden Abyss on Sony's new PlayStation Vita.
A relic of its time or a buried treasure from the past?
I was really hoping this would have made it into one of the collections. Like how they did with the GoW PSP games.
I loved this game. It was like an extension of the first one. Why haven't we gotten an HD release yet?
Sony should have tried harder to support the Vita. It ended up just a solid emulation machine that happens to have a handful of classics.
I really like Uncharted:Golden Abyss on ps vita it would be dope if they remaster it for PlayStation 5
As we come to the end of 2021, let's take a look back as we celebrate many anniversaries that are up and coming next year.
Uncharted Golden Abyss originally pitch had plans for a "Mafia Wars" like multiplayer, and its original expected budget was at $13.5 million.
I remember buying this and the Vita day one in 2012. That was almost ten years ago, damn.
"Developers won’t get good at making games at the Vita for a while"
Reviewer is an ass, confirmed.
Uh, do you think the developers have reached their peak already with the launch titles? Is Uncharted 3 better than the original Uncharted?
ff9 and ff12 during the end of their respective console life were a visual marvel. This means that it would really take a while to optimize the vita. But gravity rush and golden abyss had me impressed.
Why do reviewers keep comparing this to Uncharted 2 or 3? Sony Bend took inspiration from the very first Uncharted, remember that game? The look & feel of Golden Abyss is very similar to Drakes Fortune. Before Naughty Dog mastered their craft they too had to start from the beginning.
Wait until the 2 or 3rd Vita game than start comparing it to Uncharted 2 or 3. Golden Abyss is awesome! This reviewer has no clue i'm sorry.
