Trailers play a massive part in the marketing of videogames in today’s gaming age. Back in the day (not really old enough to use such a phrase) videogames were mainly advertised via viral posters, unlike the viral videos you see littered throughout My Space and Game Trailers today.

What’s more, trailers come all shapes and styles. You get the explosive action ones where the publisher is basically ramming the game down your throat whilst screaming ‘BUY ME’, yet you also see a lot more well crafted trailers, the videos that leave you on a cliff-hanger and have you buying the game out of sheer necessity to see where the trailer's story leads.
