The demo is available on the jap PSN store. I will test the demo to see if it's any good.

Megaman_nerd4879d ago (Edited 4879d ago )

I bet the game will be good, I mean, this is coming from the Yakuza Team right? Anyway, I'm gonna go check out if the demo is really on the jp ps store.

And about the AA, look at those results! MLAA uses less resources and it looks much better than 4xMSAA. ;)

iamgoatman4879d ago

MLAA looks better than no AA, but definitely not better than 4xMSAA.

sandman2244879d ago

why is fps always a problem on the ps3? you would think that the developer could perfect screen tearing and fps, I just dont get it???

Tito084879d ago (Edited 4879d ago )

If you mean by frames, it's just a demo dude, BTW, it's VGArabia, they are more of a fanboy site, they always favor the 360 at everything as seen in every single one of their articles, check either Lens Of truth or Digital Foundry, they know their stuff more, it might have being the 360 as lead, who knows, but it's the Yakuza team, so they already knows how to program for the PS3!!!!!!!

The Word Jap is derogatory.
Why this was approved is beyond me!

ddurand14879d ago

Seriously. What an inappropriate title

LOGICWINS4879d ago

Calling a Japanese person a "Jap" is like calling a black person the n-word.

Tainted Gene4878d ago

believe me I know how offence calling a Japanese person/people that 3 letter word is, but it is no where in the same league as the N-word is to black people.

In fact no word in the modern languages can really equal to the "weight" the n-word has.

I don't want to make a whole issue on this but just wanted to say my piece on the matter.

specialguest4879d ago (Edited 4879d ago )

Whenever I read or hear it, it makes me cringe a little.

However, this is an Arabian site and like most parts of the world, I don't think they know the history of how the abbreviation for Japan known as Jap(according to the Oxford Dictionary)became derogatory. It's really about context and how it is being used.

This racial slur was American created and actually carries no offensive meaning outside of America. I kinda feel like it's not fair for Americans to force the world to accept the same feelings they have for a legitimate abberviation for Japan. The world didn't add the derogatory meaning to this word, America did.

Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10

I hope one day we get some remakes for the following

The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)

Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time

I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.

The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.

The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.

Here's hoping for an amazing sequel

Space Marine II !! My most anticipated game of 2023! Woot

pretty solid third person shooter played from start to finish, also there is another great third person shooter game from that time and very unique called Inversion.

porkChop829d ago

Inversion was cool. It was made by the same team behind TimeShift, another really cool but flawed shooter.

HeliosHex829d ago

Yeah this was a good game despite poor reviews.

I still have my copy. It’s a brilliant game despite the reviews.

Cyberpunk Backlog: Binary Domain - A Masterpiece by SEGA

Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the makers of the Yakuza games, Binary Domain is an extremely underrated cyberpunk third-person shooter. Directed by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the mastermind behind the famous Yakuza series, the game is quite different from his previous works. Nagoshi stated that he wanted to explore the themes of life, more specifically through the use of robots. It’s a cyberpunk-themed game, and the game has interesting views on technology, robots and how society would behave in such a world. There are numerous references to other cyberpunk works and fans of the genre will be pleasantly surprised.

I would love a sequel or remake of this game. Such a fun romp

JayRyu1916d ago

^Agreed

This was such an underrated game. I liked the story and some of the action scenes were really good.

Gamehard1915d ago

I've always wanted to play this game. Huge fan of Vanquish and a few of my friends have always recommended trying this, too. I think I even have it on steam and PS3 but just never made time :( The backlog struggle is real.

DerfDerf1915d ago

This game was awesome. So satisfying the way the robots broke into pieces.

SovereignSnaKe1915d ago (Edited 1915d ago )

I'm looking at my copy right now. I got rid of a bunch of 360 games years ago but I just couldn't part with this one. It was really something special. I've recommended it to several people over the years and almost all of them have never even heard of it.
