With today being the first of February, I got my excitement for Vita levels up again. So I decided to create another helpful post for you on what Vita is best for you. I will create a small list of scenarios below to help you decide which one is better for you. I will try my best to keep them simple and explain a few in more detail if I think necessary.
Throughout the guide you will see something like "^3". This means I have written more information on them at the end of the guide.
The Legend of Dragoon is considered by some gamers to be the best RPG ever. Now fans are begging for a Legends of Dragoon remake on the PS5.

I really want to know what's going on with docked vrr cause cyberpunk at 40 fps docked seems to be a choice driven by vrr
The recent PS5 price increases have proven that the old format of console generations are no longer viable for game companies.
It's greed. Next gen prices aren't gonna be much better. I won't be surprised if next gen games are at 80. Then Sony, MS and other devs will do the usually PR of the most powerful console ever or fastest SSD or whatever to "justify" the price hike.
They'll further push ppl to PC.
I find myself playing games on my pc more and more this generation. I have my PC which I built myself, hooked up to my 65 inch oled tv.
I got Indiana Jones for free with my gfx card, my steam library is 500+ deep. I’m only buying consoles at this point because of physical games. Once the consoles go all digital, I will just be a pc gamer, because I can build whatever I want, without any limitations.
It looks like we are going to a new video game crash like in te 80s. Games are going to cost too much, the PS6 and next Xbox will be a huge and costly dissapointment.
I’ve already decided that I won’t get a PS6 until the PS7 is released. That way the console will cheaper as will the games and most will be complete editions with all dlc.
I’m too old to be worrying about playing games as soon as they’re released, just so I can say I bought it day one. I will continue to play my last gen and vr games in the meantime as I wait for price drops. This will not push me towards PC gaming though.
"no longer viable" as the PS5 out paces the PS4 and that's before GTA6 releases. The Switch 2 will almost certainly be a smash hit also.
Nice comparison, I personally went with the 3G early bundle since they upgraded it to come with the 8gb memory stick instead. And I can use the data when I'm traveling to events.
I'm going with Wi-Fi.
a) I cannot afford a monthly subscription.
b) Is there really any need for 3G? Only real difference is I'd be able to play the Vita at work/college which tends to have contested internet...
I'm probably wrong...
I was asking myself the same but ended up getting the Wi-Fi version. Why? cuz with the 3G you can't play Games and I already have a cellphone that I can't turn into a hotspot whenever/wherever I want. Also I was tempted by the Launch Bundle since it come with a 8GB MC but after doing some math its cheaper getting the Wi-Fi with the 8GB separately.
Other thing that stopped me for getting the 3G is that I already have enough bills(Car, Cellphone, College) to gett another one. And of course cuz is AT&T.
With the economy in really bad shape and everything becoming so expensive you have to play smart and reduce costs. So the Wi-Fi version is the best option in my opinion.
WiFi
- Higher price for 3G model
- AT&T Sucks
- I don't need another account/bill
- Hotspots almost everywhere
- My phone can be a hotspot
- If I use by phone's hotspot, I can (in theory) play games across that 3G connection since it looks like WiFi to the Vita
I will probably buy the 3G-version even though I will only ever use it in WiFi-Mode but I am not willing to miss out on GPS which is only in the 3G-version. I have no idea if it will ever be usefull, but I'd hate to find out 6 months in that GPS would have been nice. I am aware that there is an alternative wifi-positioning-system included but somehow i don't trust the accuracy of this system.
