Is PC Video Gaming is Dying? | How to Save When Building a Gaming PC

What's the deal these days with PC gaming anyway? GameStop barely carries any PC titles anymore, and sure there's Steam, However it's probably because if you've been like most gamers, you have evolved to make do with a decent laptop or mini-tower for your computing needs and used a next-gen console like PS3 or X360 for your gaming. Here's what to look for to save on a gaming PC and enjoy those PC only titles!

More like "is proof reading and using spell check before making stupid articles dying"

I guess in a rush to make silly death and demise of PC Gaming articles the STUPID editor didn't proof read his own work.

And this is exactly why i don't like PC gamers.

I like to make 1 purchase instead of multiple ones to "build" something that will cost me more than a current-gen console that will play the games I already have on console minus the exclusives I care about for RTS, military, simulation and God forbid MMOs and the satisfaction of having the more subjectively powerful system.

Just my personal take on it.

Don't get me wrong, Steam(for example) is great. But it's comments like yours(and worse) that make most PC fans look like elitist ****s.

I think the joke is that PS3/360 isn't 'next-gen' anymore.

It's been at least 5 years. They're current gen platforms.

Not sure what the first part of the title has to do with anything about the second part. PC retail games are dying, not PC gaming, and it's for the better considering that most PC gamers prefer Steam's amazing library and deals. Nobody wants to chug around discs when taking their laptop around with them either

Lotta PC Gamer haters on here, sounds like.
