Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations new demo gameplay! Vs Sasuke, Pain, Madara!

A brand new demo for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations has been released on the Japanese PSN store! Gameplay from each figh including Sasuke, Pain, and the teased Madara fight along with an original anime intro has been uncovered!

...and just now played it and finished it.

It looks great, with especially an improvement in the backgrounds.

There are 3 fights.
- Sasuke (with support)
- Pain (without support, as Sage Naruto)
- Tobi.Madara (without support)

The stage for Sasuke is cool, as is the snow level for Tobi/Madara. A huge improvement over the boring stages in NUNS2.

ONLY 1 slight complaint about the snow level: The falling snow is a bit too transparant, so it hardly shows, sadly. I only noticed it at the end of the fight that it was actually snowing.

Gameplay itself is familiar as NUNS2, but I saw some new combo's, and the log-replacement seems a bit easier now to pull off.

Difficulty was just normal, so not too hard. I only had to re-do the Pain fight once to win, but other than that it was pretty easy, which is OK cause you want people to just play the demo and try the gameplay.

It all seems very nice and lovely.

Just 1 complaint overall: The cutscenes. There are plenty in this demo, and luckily I could skip them to just get to the gameplay, but I hope in the final game there's a quick-button to skip them, instead of start-button, and then selecting the option to skip.

Anyway, very very pleased with the look and the feel of this new demo. Haven't tried any ultimate ending attacks or anything cause frankly I didn't get into that position where I could use them. I'm sure there will be vids of them hitting YT in the next 24 hours orso.

Great demo, well worth downloading, and very excited about the new game :)

Hah same thing happend to me with the Pain fight. Sh!t got real the second round. I really like what they did with substitute making it unspamable. The combos improved a bit but not really significant. It's definitely more balanced then NUNS2. My only complaint about the game is that the Real Madara isn't in it :P

@tehpees3 Hinata isn't playable in the demo.

... just a single-player demo with 3 fights, all of which you use Naruto against the 3 aforementioned opponents :)

So no Hinata. Doesn't matter. That gives you something to look forward to in the main game :)

Only Naruto is playable, but its still lots of fun!

Yah though Naruto is only playable you can see how different his moves are in each battle. When fighting Madara I saw new looking combos compared to when you fight Sasuke and of course it's different against pain since he turns Sage mode in the battle.
The new substituting mechanic threw me off but I prefer it so much more than being able to spam it in battle. Oh and I freakin love the cancleable moves.
