No God of War, Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden... List FAILS.
Also, where are other classics like Psychonauts, Okami, Shadow of the Colossus and more? Sure, there are not too many places but when ProSkater and Battlefield are in the list but those classics are not, it's obvious that there is something wrong with the list.

Sorry MK_Red but if you did read the article under there game of the year is other games of the Year and God of War and Shadow are both on the list. Plus other games too.

you can list games all day that you think belong there. but there is one game missing from the list that there is no reason should not be there. and i doubt anyone can disagree. No game should beat StarCraft.

You are outta your mind! Nobody plays that game anymore. it was popular for a year... Starcraft is STILL popular. all zelda games are great, but Starcraft is probably one of the most popular games of all time and for very good reason.

I agree GoldenEye was better then GT, but Zelda was such and epic game... Just thinking of it makes me want to play it again :3.

Starcraft is an important game, of course. So is GT and Goldeneye. The problem is that they chose to do a list, so they'll always be leaving some essential game behind. I mentioned Shenmue because it is probably the most important and daring game of our times and no one gives it credit. It is always Zelda and Zelda, and the usual suspects. I'm getting tired of that! Not just because I like the game, but as a videogame historian, because the game was years - still don't know how many - ahead of its time.
