Zi writes: After the controversy and disgruntled readers from yesterday's Twilight Princess installment, today in Part V we move onto the somewhat more mellow Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. Having tackled 12 titles from The Legend of Zelda series, we now come to the final three. The DS duo are two games where there isn't a large range of bachelorettes to be found, but there is plenty of content for love enthusiasts.
The Wind Waker, on the other hand, has much more to offer in range, but the romantic content is much less than you would expect from a more-modern home console title. So, in wake of Skyward Sword's teased romantic themes, let's see what The Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks have to say of potential love interests for Link.
Relive the golden age of gaming with these timeless video games. From Wind Waker to Monkey Island, get ready for a nostalgia-filled ride.
I'd put Street Fighter 2 over 3. 2 and all its different versions dominated the arcade scene back in the day in a way that 3 never did.
Ms Pacman?
Robotron?
SSF2 Turbo over 3 simply by the 10000000000's ports of the game we're still having
Castlevania SOTN?
Zelda Link to the Past over Wind Waker
Super Mario Bros 3?
Chrono Trigger?
Resident evil4?
COD MW2 (the original)?
Uncharted 2
Metal Gear Solid?
Here's my reasoning for all of them versus the list proposed in the article.
They are still quite enjoyable from start to finish on their original platform, unlike some Wind Waker or Okami that are fun when you play the remastered version (unless you call: forced to watch a 20-minute cutscene or have to blow for wind chance constantly fun).
Some of them are the pinnacle of what the console could do (MGS, Chrono, MGS)
Lots of them are still considered the go-to-go game for their genre.
Tears of the Kingdom may be about to become everyone's new favorite, but there's one DS game that deserves more shine.
Major 2023 game anniversaries include The World Ends With You, Mario Kart Wii, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, among many others
