indiePub has posted an interview with indie game developer Woodley Nye from Hitbox Team which recently released its game, Dustforce, via Steam.
From the interview:
Nye: "Dustforce came out of a desire to create a fast-paced, acrobatic platformer that rewarded combos and stylish play. Our initial concept for the game was very different. It was more like small puzzle rooms that you had to sweep clean. But we soon found that with the speed that we wanted it to play, you felt trapped. So Lexie (game programmer Alex Dostal) detached the camera and got rid of the boundary and we started looking at it more like a full adventure platformer."
Neil writes: "Last week's Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale was a tad disappointing, mostly because the really decent Xbox One and Xbox 360 bargains were saved for the Ultimate Game Sale. Now though it's time to check out a whole new list of discounted titles. But what bargains are available for gamers to get excited about thanks to the Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 24th-30th July 2018?"
Video game and music fans alike can sit back, relax and enjoy all the melodies of Dustforce.
