Next Need For Speed returns to arcade style

The Rumour: With Need for Speed ProStreet disappointing many fans of the series, EA will take the series back to the Most Wanted/Carbon style next year.

Verdict: Need for Speed ProStreet hasn’t been the runaway No.1 many people predicted, and this is partly down to the series’ new identity as a sim racer. It’s far from Forza, but nothing like the NFS games we’ve been enjoying over the past few years. Fans needn’t worry as next year’s game will be back on form, with EA alternating between sim and arcade over the coming years.
