European Xbox Video Marketplace has technical problems
Today finally saw the launch of Microsoft’s Video Marketplace in Europe. There have been a few teething problems with payments and video playback.
* Some users attempting to purchase Microsoft Points via credit card, myself included, have had their credit card declined. Whether payment is attempted via PC over the Xbox website, or directly from the Xbox, the Error message is
"Your credit card information is not valid. Please verify and try again."
* Video Previews of available movies results in an error message.
"Unplayable Content
Can’t find the storage device.
Please reconnect the device.
Status code: 56-C00DF238"
*Some forum users are reporting video downloads disconnecting.
Microsoft have posted this message on the Xbox Live UK website
"Xbox Live users may experience intermittent issues while attempting to access content on the Video Marketplace. This issue is currently under investigation and we apologize for the inconvenience."
