10 Games That Deserve Sequels: Part 1 of 2

Trendy Gamers: With video games almost 50 years old at their earliest inception at this point, there are quite a few games out there that deserve sequels or new entries but haven’t been given them. Here is the first part of my list of the games that deserve a sequel more than any others.

I'd prefer a Grim Fandango sequel over Psychonauts any day.

I've never actually played Grim Fandango. What's it about?

It's basically about a guy named Manny who works in the after life as a kind of travel agent for the dead, I know that doesn't sound great but believe me the game is a masterpiece, it's almost like playing a Pixar movie, and it's Tim Schafer's best game by some distance.

Yep - GF is the reason I will buy any Tim Schafer game no matter what the reviews may say about it.

It has the best art direction for any game ever - period.

I still play it sometimes - in fact, I played it again just last month because of the 12-year old bug that may have caused me to miss a bit of dialoque:

Well, naturally I couldn't risk that, so I played it once more.

I got a PM from someone from this board who named his cats Manny and Meche after the two protagonists in the game - I wish I had thought of it, now I'm naming my next dog Glottis!

That's how good this game is.
