IGN – The Firm: Series Premiere Review

IGN – Following up on John Grisham's 1991 novel and the feature adaptation starring Tom Cruise, The Firm tells the story of expert defense attorney Mitchell McDeere (now played by Josh Lucas) — the series takes place ten years after the novel and the film. Not having read or watched either of these, I can't be sure how true the show stays to Grisham's original source material. However, strictly speaking as a newcomer to the franchise, I can say that NBC's sequel definitely has the potential to stand on its own merits.
