Quartermann Rumors: New Square Enix 360 Exclusive, Bond, and More
Another month, another batch of Quartermann rumors, this time served from one of EGM’s biggest covers ever: the world exclusive unveiling of Street Fighter IV.
People already know that Activision picked up Project Gotham Racing studio Bizarre Creations because of their experience in the racing genre, but Quartermann’s hearing their first project is hardly a head-to-head with the Need for Speed series. Instead, it appears they’re working on a James Bond project — but one with a load of driving elements.
Additionally, there’s more fuel to the fire that Nintendo isn’t so keen on expanding the Mii concept on Wii. Everyone would have expected more customization options by now, but Quartermann says Nintendo actually cancelled a first-party title in development that insisted on players having more control.
On the Xbox 360 front, Square Enix may be throwing the platform another bone with an exclusive installment in the Front Mission franchise. Simultaneously, however, the company’s also looks to be locking in one of their premiere IPs exclusively on PlayStation 3.
