Blu-ray holds huge percentage of market in Australia
According to a new study by Sony in Australia, Blu-ray holds 95.2% of the market in that region against the rival HD DVD.
"This report quite clearly depicts the current state of play in the High Definition format market in Australian homes," said Sony Australia managing director, Carl Rose.
Although the Australian market is very small compared to North America, Europe or Japan, this is still a great achievement by the Blu-ray camp in this ever-lasting format war.
