The Twelve Games of Christmas 2011 – Day Seven: July
Three new titles from three big franchises arrived in July 2011, all of which disappointed in some way. While UFC Personal Trainer failed to live-up to expectations due to technical issues (which have since been surpassed by other similar titles) and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D proved to be a showcase for the Nintendo 3DS’ visualElectronic Theatre Image capabilities and little else, Ubisoft’s Call of Juarez: The Cartel was arguably the biggest disappointment. So much possibility, so much hype, and yet so little to show for it.
