HQ4Games says: "The gaming industry has been progressing rapidly with new technologies and accessories to improve ones gaming experience. Though there is an abundance of games which support these new and upcoming products there still seems to be a great connection between nostalgic games and gamers themselves, they always seem to enjoy the classics. This raises the question of whether developers will continue to create and produce new games or will a flood of remastered and revised games be hitting the shelf in the upcoming year? It is quite obvious that we will not see a halting of new games rather we might see the industries focus change drastically. Developers such as Square Enix have begun this process already with re-released titles such as the Metal Gear Solid’s, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy Tactics, to only mention a few.
