YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY LOST BY MICROSOFT, SUPPORT SAYS THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO HELP IN THE MATTER.

Microsoft Support tells me that I have to fax them a copy of my Service Contract.

I did this, and have not heard a word from them, and I faxed it 3 times.

Today, October 15th, 2007,

I phoned Microsoft to ask why they had not sent me a letter telling me my warranty had been transfered to my latest Refurb….( My story, the story of xbox360defective.com, began a short time after I purchased my very first xbox 360 game console way back in fall of 2005 and I found out it was defective. At that time Microsoft only gave us a 90 day warranty. At that time they wanted everyone who was out of their 90 day warranty to pay $140.00 +- to get a known defective xbox 360 repaired. Anyways, on with the latest…. Today, I was trying to find out why Microsoft had not sent me a letter like they did before, telling me my warranty had been updated to reflect the new serial number of the present refurbished xbox 360 that I now have… they told me they have no record of my ever having purchased an extended warranty!

OMG! How inept can that company actually be?

Now, i have to pay my bank to research and find that ONE PURCHASE RECORD where I paid over the phone, using my bank debit card for an extended 2 year warranty!

What a night mare!

How many ways can Microsoft suck? Let me count the ways!
