We might be in the age of remasters, but it doesn't look like the Dead Island 2 devs believe remaking the original game is the right move for the series.
but remakes require far less effort for these companies and they can still charge $70 for them!
Feel like everyone makes fun of Skyrim re-releasing like 18 times yet applaud these remasters elsewhere. Would much prefer NEW games
Making sequels really is the way to go. Otherwise we'll be stuck playing only the first entry, forever!!!
Duke Nukem Forever originally began its life as a sidescroller instead of a shooter back in 1996, and that canceled version has just been leaked.

Duke Nukem Forever, the troubled FPS from Gearbox and 3D Realms, has been restored to more traditional 90s shooter thanks to a sweeping “remaster” mod
kinda of a misleading title.
Mod features:
Sprinting removed and faster player movement
Jump height increased
Swim speed is much faster
Player can now hold breath underwater for 45 seconds instead of 15
Weapon rebalance and screen shake when shooting removed
2/4 weapon limit completelly removed
Quicksaves (F5 by default)
Depth of Field removed and new post processing effects
Driving sections are now in first person perspective

It is pretty amazing, I remember being so hyped that they covered the Duke theme back when it happened haha. I still quite enjoyed Forever though personally.

the list really only had 3 PC titles on it and the other 7 were multi-plats. Multi-plats that are simply console ports so they are what they are!
Stronghold 3 sucks in comparison to Stronghold Kingdoms.....feels rushed and not very well planned.
No game time with "A game of throne Genesis" and i never watched the show so IDK about this one

I was pretty hyped up about this game but it turned out to be one giant turd. I'm so pissed off that i bought it but luckily it was during a Steam sale so i got Nuclear Dawn with it for one low price BUT still EYE:DC needs a major overhaul.
i downloaded 4 gig to play homefront. what a waste in a country where u get 500meg as maximum
Duke Nukem Forever wasn't all that disappointing to me... just because I did not expect anything of it beforehand.
In my case, real disappointments: Homefront and Rage.
