Tecmo Koei Europe is gearing-up for the release of their next release in the long-running Dynasty Warriors series, cunningly titled Dynasty Warriors NEXT. After the announcement of a release date and revelation of some new in-game screenshots come new details on just how Dynasty Warriors NEXT will use the upcoming PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) console’s unique capabilities to create interesting gameplay mechanics.

That and it'll take up a 10% of your hard drive at around the 45GB mark but yeah great game and pretty good price for those wanting digital version, got my day one edition for about £28 so I've not exactly lost a lot over 2 months.
Dynasty Warriors Next is one of the few Vita games that I honestly could not recommend to anyone.
This game, like other Dynasty Warriors games before it, is an action-based hand-to-hand combat game where you control 65 different historical figures from ancient China. This game revolves around three in particular – the power struggle between Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Ce (Liew Bay, Tsau Tsau and Tsun Say, phonetically), almost 1900 years ago. I am a big fan of games steeped in history – even if that history is half-fictional like in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. This game had a very low standard by which it had to impress me; this should have been an easy sale. Not only did it fail to impress me, but it failed spectacularly.
Sounds good. Got custom characters back in it... And ordering the generals by touching the map could be cool.
