L.A Noire puts you in the shoes of a young war hero, Cole Phelps, who gets hired in the L.A.P.D in 1947. The actor behind Cole Phelps is Aaron Staton, who is highly known because of his role in Mad Men, plus a big thanks to the impressive motion capture technology voice acting is not the only thing that’s impressive here. Cole’s face is Staton’s face, yes, the technology doesn’t capture all the small details but the facial expressions are brilliant. While these animations face some problems, but overall they’re without any doubt, one of the best in games. The story of game packs some serious punch because of the characters, they look and sound so real. There performances in the game effects the overall experience in a very positive way, specially when you’re interrogating a suspect, it feels like reading the facial expressions of a real person and then approaching him with different possibilities
