Over the weekend, the Spike Video Game Awards were held. While you would have seen a few people get up on stage, there were a lot more people in attendance. Lots of developers, yeah, but lots of celebrities as well.
Ever wonder just who among those celebrities scores an invite to a free meal and an evening of video game trailers? Or which developers are worth a professional photographer snapping their pic on the red carpet? Wonder no more.
Hideo Kojima and PlayStation go together like hobbits and breakfasts. That is to say, they're meant to be together, but they're also happy to serve up a PC port or afternoon tea if the time is right. Kojima's long-time collaboration with Sony means it always feels odd to see his name next to an Xbox logo, like Master Chief appearing on your PS5 or glimpsing your teacher in the big Tesco doing her weekly shop.

I’m replaying the first game it’s great. It’s not for everyone no doubt. There are still a lot of people playing it.
Then why do a sequel straight away?
Why not something else like maybe a horror game similar to Silent Hills but rebranded into a new IP.
