James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes 3D

Puzzle games are a dime a dozen these days, and while the DS may have been slightly oversaturated with developers trying to mimic the success of a certain Professor and his young protégé, most failed in recreating puzzle games that also manage to entertain on a narrative level. James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes 3D is the latest puzzle-game from Ubisoft for the 3DS, and while the title itself might suggest a more hardboiled approach to solving puzzles with a slightly more mature audience in mind, it never comes close to realizing either of these potentials.
