Examiner: NBA 2K12 Legends Showcase DLC Review

So the big controversy with Legends Showcase is whether or not the DLC should have just been a standalone download that doesn’t require the retail disc in order to play. It is very easy (and fair) to knock the fact that 2K Sports did take out some modes in 2K12 that were in 2K11 and saved it for this DLC, but the revamped presentation and high quality of the new content here justifies the $10 price tag. It is not essential to the NBA 2K12 experience because you already get plenty of that in the retail disc, but it is a worthwhile download if you’re into the rich history of the NBA.
