Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Review | Attack of the Fanboy

It was less than a year ago that Capcom released the much anticipated sequel Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and while long time fans of the franchise had their complaints, it was a solid outing for the most part. While developers might normally address some of these wanted features and extra characters with downloadable content or patches after the game's release, Capcom has decided to go with a standalone product. Make no mistake about it, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3's differences are subtle. Character balancing, new fighters, and a much need spectator mode highlight the notable enhancements to the experience, and while all these are nice, is it worth the $40 bucks?

Is it really that hard to program a survival mode into the game?
Bare-bones single player again. So frustrating.

fighting game fans don't care about survival mode or any 1p vs cpu mode.

Nope, been playing fighting games for years while you were still wetting the bed. I expect modes from Capcom that until now, have been delivering on for years. Now all of a sudden they take it away, that's why I'm not happy.

Capcom seriously dropped the ball with MvC Infinite. You can tell that it was heavily influenced by outside marketing that wanted to promote the characters in the MCU films only. The roster was lacking, the gameplay was slower than the previous game and there just wasn't a lot of the wackiness we come to expect.
