GameFront, "I both love and hate Skyward Sword, and it simultaneously has some of the best and worst of what the modern Zelda adventures have to offer. It highlights some of the interesting experiences Nintendo’s aging motion control technology is capable of delivering, while constantly reminding us that that technology is old, gimmicky, and not especially compelling. It encapsulates some brilliant design ideas while still clinging to, and often embracing, the worst things about Nintendo-made games."
The Early Black Friday US deals for Nintendo games are quite impressive. From Pokemon to Fire Emblem, here are some awesome sales.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was originally released for the franchise’s 25th anniversary, celebrating everything Zelda, including the bosses.
If you’re a hardcore fan of The Legend of Zelda series, Playasia has a new Skyward Sword original soundtrack. It comes in a standard edition with a total of five CDs and a limited edition that also includes a music box.
I would give it a higher score, but I still agree with the points made here. It's not perfect, by any means. The name "Zelda" gave it much higher scores than it deserves, but it's still a very good game. I just wish Nintendo would catch up with the rest of us. Skyrim just came down to us from Heaven and they're throwing out game mechanics from 1998.
