Fanatec Forza Motorsport CSR wheel and Elite pedals review

It's amazing to realize that about two years ago Fanatec's first Xbox 360 racing wheel, the Forza 3 Porsche 911 Turbo Wheel, hit the scene. Although it turned out to be a mixed bag, Fanatec pleasantly surprised us with its Porsche GT2 and Clubsport Pedals in January of this year -- despite a roaring fan and shaky shifter mounts. Now, we're saying hello to a new trio of racing sim-related goods from the company intended for Forza Motorsport 4 on Xbox 360: the $249.95 Forza Motorsport CSR Wheel, $59.95 shifter set, and $149.95 CSR Elite Pedals.

Still waiting for Logitech support. I would like to use my G25.

Revvin4920d ago

I can't see that ever happening with the current XBOX. I used to be a Logitech fan, still recommend their wheels to those on a budget but Fanatec and also Thrustmaster are stealing their market share big time. Fanatec has grown a lot in the last two years and although there were some bad stories regarding support (I always had very goood support from them) they seem to have got things moving really well with some great allbeit expensive products but you get what you pay for, this is high end German engineering.

I am still waiting for Logitech to come out with a new wheel that support the ps3, pc, and Xbox 360. I don't know what are they waiting for. The are loosing some market with Fanatec and Thrustmaster.

Milk...get your milk...and so much more. Really when you release the same games in three editions over 15 years it's amazing how much money, and the amount of sales you earn. It's amazing how no one can compete.

To be fair, no many companies could release the same game over and over. They've earned that whether we agree or not

I mean Resident Evil 4 has had longer legs and still hasn't done anything like this.

GTA v isn't the only game that's released three consoles generations running but nothing has sold those numbers including GTA San Andreas which is now 4 console generations deep.

Skyrim is still my favorite ES game. I’m playing through it again right now since I never finished it.
