IGN - World Cruise Story is the latest business simulator from Kairosoft. Taking over a small cruise ship, players build facilities, manage tours, and attract passengers to travel the world. For every ship facility used, passengers spend money, so it's a balance of bringing in cash and paying off the monthly operating costs. When hitting certain cash milestones, players can expand the cruise ship to add more shops and more passenger cabins. Players can also use special items and occasionally switch up their cruise routes to maximize profits. From there, it's about impressing Kings of various nations and boosting the appeal of every facility until the fifteen year cycle comes to a close and you (ideally) set a new high score.
