At its best, Saints Row is funny, imaginative and gleefully entertaining. At its worst, it's lazy, generic and a technical mess. If it struck a consistent balance between the two, you could forgive its shortcomings, but the bad all too often outweighs the good.
GF365: "We all love experimenting with character creation to make unique protagonists. These are the games with the best character creation systems."
Slightly disappointing game but Wo Long had a good creator. I was impressed by Oblivion back in what 05, 06? But the worst i have ever seen, clearly, Valheim.
Honestly the one I remember being easiest and flexible enough to make any character I imagined was the PS2 WWE games, and Saints Row 2. I did really enjoy Dragons dogmas character creation too
Lol CP 2077 is one of the easiest and less detailed editors around. It's all a mish-mash of presets.
GF365: "Whether it be style, speed or firepower, these rides are sure to satisfy. Here are our picks for the ten best vehicles in video games."
The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series
Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground
Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3
And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2
I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.
In a recent podcast with Wassup Conversations, Scott Phillips the director of many games such as Immortals Fenyx Rising, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Saints Row The Third and Saints Row 4 talks about behind the scenes of those games.
if i see a low score of this game, i know its because the reviewer think Saints Row pretend be a GTA.. NO
Review aside, I'm excited for Saints Row 3, I'm glad Volition did a reboot of the franchise and chose the crazy insane gameplay, it's no longer a GTA knock off franchise, it doesn't take it self seriously, but it delivers for being what a game should be.
Fun.
For me personally.. i'm more excited for GTA V because of its realistic approach. I think this game is more tailored for teens rather than grownups and quite frankly it just doesn't appeal to me that much (insanely wacky and arcade feel). I like games that try to bridge the gap from games to reality, its kinda the same reason why i'm a HUGE Battlefield 3 fan and hates everything COD for it being too arcady and with Activision milking it without any major updates. A lot of stupid people fail to see that its the same game every year with different maps and if it continues to break records then please be aware that its a business and if easy cash-ins work then its what they'll continue to do.
Saints Row has always been about fun. I could give a damn about any rating for this game. I know it will be awesome.
I didn't think GTA IV was really anything genre-defining or spectacular...but I can support both games. SR3 deserves praise for trying to amp up the series...which they certainly did.
Its acctually a really good game, really fun to play with great exploration of places. Many people say that its a GTA knockoff when its not, its in its own league
