Admit it, deep down you were hoping that the Call Of Duty franchise would take a hit from the first serious contender in a long time. Too bad the heavyweight fight between Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 ended up being more one sided then the Mike Tyson versus Peter McNeely fight. Obviously Modern Warfare 3 was going to sell better, but what has surprised a lot of people is the fact that Modern Warfare 3 outscored Battlefield easily on Metacritic.
