id Mobile’s John Carmack talks future DS and PSP projects
John Carmack has been revealing plans for id Software’s newly announced id Mobile division. The division will be responsible for making games for handheld platforms DS, PSP and mobile, with the team’s first project looking like it’ll be a Wolfenstein-type title for DS and mobile, as previously thought.
"We’re really looking forward to seeing how Orcs & Elves does on the DS. It’s looking now like our first project is going to be a mobile/DS Wolfenstein-type title. After that, we’ll do an original title on the mobile, and what happens after that will determine how we go from there,"
