Batman Arkham Asylum Vs. Batman Arkham City | Gaming Precision
Rocksteady Games’s Batman rendition is anything but your typical comic book game. Batman: Arkham Asylum took the world by storm, redefining the possibilities of the super hero genre and proving that the DC comics has more to show the world in its bag of tricks. The successful combination of fluid combat mechanics, an assortment of gadgets, stealth components and the reinvention of our favorite childhood characters made Arkham Asylum one of the greatest games of 2009 and a personal favorite in my collection.
Fans were beyond excited when word about a sequel perused it’s way into the gamer consciousness. Promising a different perspective, Batman Arkham City broadened the constraints of the previous installment while staying true to what made Arkham Asylum shine. Sequels are renowned for their substandard nature, and often taint the overall appeal of a series. Arkham City did not disappoint in the least.
