Phil from StickTwiddlers writes: "After finally waiting for the Kinect Sports Season 2 demo to download, I have had the chance to take this title for a test run. Now I loved Kinect Sports and it was one of my Kinect launch title purchases that has provided me with lots of fun, even though the Kinect recognition wasn’t always 100% but it was still good enough to still make it an enjoyable title.

With this in mind, it’s fairly safe to say that I have high expectations for season two of the Kinect Sports franchise, so what was my initial reaction to the demo?"

I actually prefer KS season one, and Kinect Adventure over most on the list. But its good that someone else was bold enough to say these were fun and interesting games to play.

Doing it wrong: How Rivals fails where Kinect Sports Season 2 succeeded

James O'Connor of MMGN: Motion controlled games can only succeed, I think, when they don’t have a clear vested interest in proving the worth of the technology, and Rivals feels a bit too much like a tech demo.

The only problem I have for it is the lack of mini games... I like 5/6 of the games in Rivals, but there are quite a few they should have brought back from previous entries... I won't be paying $60 for what's available now...
