As much as Id love Uncharted 3 to win GoTY, im going to have to agree with this guy. The improvements from AA to AC just totally blow away the improvements from U2 to U3. Though I still think U3 will be a top contender!

I've finished the game, done most of the challenges(just need to get the remaining trophies and some side missions) and as much as I liked it, I simply cant see it being GOTY, I see Uncharted 3 taking that spot.

Why do people say "______ is GOTY" as if there is only one game of the year award to be given out? Of course, Batman I believe will win quite a few may be more but there are so many award ceremonies and the game is so good of course it is plausible to think it will win GOTY.

That term is generally used to describe the game that wins the most GOTY awards, in which I believe will be the case for Batman.

Mmm nah I don't think so. I like your rebuttal but it's not strong enough. I would also like to know who's the loser that disagreed and didn't add anything.

With there being so many people that game, write about games, review games, having a singular GOTY seems impossible. We need a respectable singular organization like an "Academy of Interactive Entertainment and Gaming Sciences" that hands out the equivalent of an Oscar. What we don't need is more Doogie Howser, and a throng of presenters making penis jokes.

Incidentally, my GOTY is the same that it has been for the last 4 years, and that is TF2. :)
