Call of duty 4 broken by PS3 2.01?

Official forums have recently been inundated with suggestions that the recent PS3 firmware (version 2.01) upgrade, intended to fix stability issues with certain games, has caused COD 4 to join the list of those games not quite working as expected on the platform, Gamesradar suggests.
