Capcom’s Christian Svensson offers an explanation towards the lack of Spiderman villains in the upcoming fighting game, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Dual Pixels: "After Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite there was a lot of doubt regarding the franchise ever returning in some sort of fashion..."
Capcom seriously dropped the ball with MvC Infinite. You can tell that it was heavily influenced by outside marketing that wanted to promote the characters in the MCU films only. The roster was lacking, the gameplay was slower than the previous game and there just wasn't a lot of the wackiness we come to expect.
From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
Venom at least should been in MvC3
Just like megaman(either X or original) should of been in MvC3
Capcom has fallen off, everything about $$$/DLC these days.
I wish the Sinister 6 was in there. I know Marvel controls every character in there based on their upcoming movies the avengers, thor, etc.
I've always wondered what the criteria for allowing Capcom to put in or leave out certain Marvel characters is. Like how do Marvel decide what characters they want in and out? I'm really curious
They should put Carnage in one of these games. He would be sick. Mysterio would be a fun character too.
Don't worry guys. They'll make Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Arcade Edition (or something of that nature) in the near future. That way everyone gets his or her favorite character and Capcom rakes in the cash. History is in my favor and you know it's coming. I am prepared for the numerous disagrees.
