Tetris Axis 3DS Review (Destructoid)

Dale North writes: I liked the addition of dancing Miis and club-style classical music remixes, and the graphical presentation and 3D novelties were neat, but none of this really satisfied my craving to play some good ol' Tetris. Somehow the standard-ish Marathon mode wasn't doing it for me. Again, I appreciate that Hudson Soft was trying to do something new and different, but I find myself wanting to go back to Tetris DS after spending some time with Tetris Axis. I guess I'm old-fashioned that way.

Though the majority of gamers, hated it. People wanted Nintendo's franchises to evolve, and M: Other M had voice overs, FMV's, nice looking visuals, and a story to boot. The basic case of: "You're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't", scenario.

Luckily the title was a successful, and went on to selling a million units.

I loved that game... I wish they'd make more like it... or maybe a 2-D metroid at least...

but they probably won't... well, guess we'll have to wait and see what happens with the Wii U.
