Ready for an MMORPG from the people who made CityVille and Empire & Allies? To put it another way, are you read for Zynga's answer to World of Warcraft?
They've got on in the works. It's called CastleVille, and it was just one of a pile of new games revealed at a big Zynga event today in San Francisco.
Zynga:
We wanted to share with the r/bitcoin community that Zynga Inc. is now conducting a Bitcoin test with BitPay, a leading Bitcoin service provider, in select Zynga web games.
I wish more companies used Bitcoin. It's the future, but it's taking too damn long.
Do people still believe in Zynga? I want bitcoins to be put in the forefront, but wish Zynga wasn't the ones pushing it...
Zynga trying to cash in on the game to make more money from crappy micro-transactions crap...
I wonder if I can request my bonus in bitcoins instead of company stock and/or cash :P
CastleVille is a free to play online Facebook game available to play now in its open beta form. It has been bought to us by no other than Zynga – who have been referred to as the kings of Facebook games! These are the same guys who bought us other delightfully addictive games such as ChefVille, FarmVille and Treasure Isle.
Kotaku - CastleVille's Halloween event has expanded far beyond simply growing spirits in your Kingdom, as you can now build a Haunted House, grow pumpkin crops and much more to celebrate the holiday. While we've already brought you a complete guide to completing the game's Halloween Treats quests, the second you plant your first Pumpkin in your Kingdom (which is required for said quests), you'll spawn an entirely separate set of quests called Halloween Tricks. This particular series seals with the new Halloween Party system, and we're here with a complete guide to finishing this series off, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started.
Game of the year, hands down. /s
Ah, Kotaku. The one place I can count on for the comment section to be a bunch of self righteous a-holes, no matter what they are talking about...
