Tower defense. The industry is full of it. No, really. Seriously, there’s like hundreds of them. I’ve popped balloons, blasted scribbles, fried demons, reduced geometric shapes to particle effects, and yes, even blasted some orcs. What I haven’t done until Orcs Must Die by is both set up tower defenses and shoot Orcs in the face up close and personal, third person style! Orcs Must Die by Robot Entertainment is the latest entry in the crowded tower defense genre, available now on the xBox Live marketplace. More mindless drudgery, or a welcome addition to the crowded genre?
