With my recent discussion with many developers on possibilities of gaining more exposure to games that were possibly their first projects. I had time to message DJ Arcas from ProjectorGames, not just to catch up on what FortressCraft has been up to, but to see how well Steam Heroes is doing. Many of you might not know, Steam Heroes is actually one of the games that DJ Arcas is responsible for.
Six Xbox indie games by Woblyware and VoxPop Games will be delisted from the Microsoft Store in March and April 2025 due to studio closures.
Yesterday Microsoft announced that 17 new ID@Xbox indie games are coming to the Xbox One family of consoles later this year. Now, games from the ID@Xbox program aren’t usually the best, so before you go ahead and consider playing all 17 games, let’s first break down the potential best of the bunch.
I have gone on record to call myself a “perfectionist” in regards to my hobbies or work. I like doing things a certain way, the “right” way. I’ve never thought of it as particularly unhealthy and, on many occasions, I’ve had this perfectionist behavior looked at as a positive attribute of mine.
this is true :( I keep playing a level/boss until I've gotten that perfect A+ rank before moving on to the next thing.
Yeah it's why I haven't completed the game yet. Still enjoying it but my mind won't rest until I get that perfect!
I just play the levels repeatedly, because it's fun. Worrying about perfecting a level is too stressful for me.
yeah, I'm trying to play casually but it's ingrained in me that I need an A+ for every boss fight and run n' gun. I still enjoy myself but you are right about the stress. I need to find that balance
