Next-Gen Preview: Beowulf

That Beowulf the game departs from its source material should be little surprise. Popular tastes have changed in the intervening centuries; whilst the original epic must have been sufficiently entertaining to warrant its long survival, this year’s big-screen version suggests that modern viewers demand much more in the way of violence, blood and imperiled virgins.
