As you send the pieces scattering, you find your nemesis has hidden for you a pack of ammunition for the pistol you’ve been using to shoot all those troublesome henchman. With this, you’ll likely carve a brutal body count through the hordes of evil subordinates in your path. Perhaps you were too hasty earlier when you called your antagonist a “mastermind”.

While our industry has worked hard to evolve graphics from 8 pixels to high definition gloss, we’ve scarcely budged the world of video game villains from their original days of grimacing, mute adversaries with bright, flashing weak points.

So the movie cost 155 million to produce and another 30 million dollars to promote . Borderlands movie brought in around 31 million worldwide . So basically, the Borderlands movie was a 154 million commercial for Borderlands video game franchise.
