I must first admit that I’m not the biggest fan of the Dragon Quest series. While I enjoyed the Dragon Warrior games back in the Game Boy Color days, I’ve since been wooed by the Final Fantasy series with its flashy graphics and emo characters. So, when I began to review Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 (DQMJ2), I had to make sure to keep an open mind. Thankfully, keeping that open mind let me experience one of the last great DS games.
