XBLIG In-depth: Brand sets its sights high

We’ve lost track of the amount of demos we’ve downloaded and deleted when it comes to the Xbox Live Indie Games channel — It must range in the hundreds. We don’t think many people will have the same issue when Brand comes out. This action-platformer from Nine Dots Studios is going above and beyond what you’d normally see from indie games on the Xbox 360 and may set a new standard on the service.

Brand tells the tale of a young man with an important quest: to change a normal sword into one fit for a king. Upgrading your sword allows you to select abilities from a group of nine powers, all of which directly affect gameplay. But be cautious with what you pick — there’s weight to the choices you make.
